ALAC input, ASIO output updated
The ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio Codec) decoding (v 1.0.3) and the ASIO (Audio Stream Input/Output) (v1.2.7) output components have been updated.
ALAC Decoding Support notes:
- Fixed a rare crash.
ASIO support notes:
- Now correctly outputs digital silence when playback is muted

A minor crash on startup with dsp_sts.dll fixed. Download the new version from fb2k.org and discuss it on its forum thread.

Decoding speed test (foo_benchmark) v1.1 released
The decoding speed test component has been updated to v1.1. It measures decoding speed of audio files.

Shpeck v0.3.0 released
Yirkha has released a new version of his Winamp visualization plugin wrapper Shpeck.
Changes:
- New: Panel button images are now stored in theme configs (will partially break your current panel configuration).
- New: Plugin (re)scan spams useful messages to console to help with troubleshooting.
- New: Better message is shown when plugin claims to be for an incompatible version of Winamp.
- New: Instant preview for titleformatting in Preferences dialog.
- New: Alternate DLL load strategy – looks for additional libraries (e.g. NSCRT.DLL) directly in the Plugins directory as well

SoX Resampler v0.3.0a released
lvgcl has released a new version of his high-quality resampler based on the SoX “rate” algorithm. Visual comparisons of competing sample rate conversion (SRC) algorithms are available if you wish to compare this resampler with others.
Please note that the obvious differences in these visual representations of audio will probably not be audible in most cases. The differences are mostly below both the human threshold of hearing and the noise floor of most audio equipment.

Masstagger (foo_masstag) v1.7.1 released
The Masstagger component has been updated to v1.7.1. It automates various tag editing operations.
